Here is a Hasan or Muwaththaq (Good or Reliable) ḥadīth that tells us the number of companions that will be with al-Qā’im (عليه السلام). This ḥadīth says “a few over three hundred and ten men”, based off of other aḥādīth we can conclude that there will be three hundred and thirteen (313) men with al-Qā’im (عليه السلام) when he returns, inshā’Allāh. Also, this ḥadīth gives the tafsīr of an ayāh of the Qur’ān from Sūrah al-Baqarah (2) : Verse 148.
I have discussed at length Abū Khālid al-Kābūlī in another post, click here: http://www.revivingalislam.com/2010/12/73-sects-of-islam.html

From Abī Khālid (al-Kābūlī) from Abī Ja`far (عليه السلام) about the words of Allāh (عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ): “Hasten to al-khayrāt, wherever you are, Allāh will bring you together” (2:148). He (عليه السلام) said: “al-Khayrāt means al-Wilāyah. And His (تبارك و تعالى) saying, “Wherever you are, Allāh will bring you together” means the companions of al-Qā’im who will be a few (over) three hundred and ten men. He (عليه السلام): ‘By Allāh they are the nation of an insignificant amount.’ He (عليه السلام) said: ‘By Allāh, He will gather them in one hour like the cirrus clouds of autumn’”
