How to Cure Weakening Eyesight

Here is a Ṣaḥīḥ (Authentic) ḥadīth from Imām al-Ṣādiq (عليه السلام) where he gives a formula on how to cure weakening eyesight. Inshā’Allāh, we can use this if and when our eyesight weakens. There are three things that must be applied to the person equally. For each thing, I have given the Wikipedia page to what it is.

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ جَمِيلِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع إِنَّ لَنَا فَتَاةً كَانَتْ تَرَى الْكَوْكَبَ مِثْلَ الْجَرَّةِ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَ تَرَاهُ مِثْلَ الْحُبِّ قُلْتُ إِنَّ بَصَرَهَا ضَعُفَ قَالَ اكْحُلْهَا بِالصَّبِرِ وَ الْمُرِّ وَ الْكَافُورِ أَجْزَاءً سَوَاءً قَالَ فَكَحَلْنَاهَا بِهِ فَنَفَعَهَا

From Jamīl bin Ṣāliḥ said, I said to Abī `Abd Allāh (عليه السلام), “We have a young girl, she used to see the stars like a trail (i.e. had extremely good eyesight). He (عليه السلام) said: ‘Yes, and she sees it like a grain (now)’ I said: ‘Her eyesight has become weak.’ He (عليه السلام) said: ‘Apply al-Sabr (Aloe), al-Murr (Myrrh), and Camphor to her in equal parts’ He (the narrator) said: ‘So we applied it to her, and it benefited her (i.e. her eyesight got better)’
